The prime aim of the Wireless Messaging Association (WMA) is to consolidate the common aims and objectives of its members into one voice in order to support the Wireless Messaging industry and promote its success both in the UK and throughout world markets.

The WMA identifies issues of common concern to members and provides an effective forum for the discussion of those issues to ensure the positive development of the Wireless Messaging industry and its markets. The Association represents the common interests of its members and from time to time issues statements and publications to enable the industry to achieve its objectives in terms of visibility, integrity and growth.

The WMA is the recognised voice of the wireless messaging industry and communicates its members views and opinions to government bodies and regulatory authorities, principally the RA and OFTEL, taking a high profile, pro-active approach.

In the past the Governments administrative and regulatory bodies have regularly consulted us. In recent years we have helped shape Government policy in such diverse aspects as spectrum pricing, European standards, health and safety, plus many other aspects that are relevant to players in this industry.
