SERVICES PROVIDED BY OSCA

OSCA develops joint views on relevant technical matters, approvals standards and radio spectrum considerations. We represent such views to the appropriate approvals and regulatory bodies in order to protect the interests of our member companies and their customers.

Past projects have included, among many others, working with the British Standards Institute on developing fire alarm alerting systems for the profoundly deaf, working with the UK Radiocommunications Agency (now Ofcom) on the realignment of the 450 to 470 MHz band, commenting on a Treasury consultation document on the future management of the radio spectrum, and assisting the RA with the introduction of electronic licensing.
